18 months= 1 year and a half!

Chocolate covered strawberries are officially Layla's favorite food.

I always made fun of moms who said my baby is 18 months old... You don't really understand why people do that before you have babies. I still think it is a little dorky.

So... she is officially a year and a half old. WOW

It is like something turned on in her brain and she can talk all the sudden. It is like having a real conversation with her. She answers questions and sweet talks her daddy with I love yous.

I would add new additions to her vocabulary, but there are too many to count.

hurt ( she signs hurt and says it even when she is not really hurt)
You okay, daddy? You okay, ollie? You okay, momma? (very worried about us all)
She always reminds me of her bowel movements with a "ewe pooh pooh kaka!!"
If you fart she says "you fart?" Not that I ever fart :)
If you burp she says "you farted?"

Her hair finally got too long and mulletty. I ended up cutting her bangs myself and the following day I had to cut off the back because it was so straggley. I did a pretty good job... She looks adorable. She doesn't look like a baby anymore, she is transitioning into a little girl.... awe!




She peed in the potty on Tuesday, I was so proud of her. I am not trying to potty train her just yet, but we have the potty in her room and I let her sit on it before we put on a clean diaper and she just did it! I was so excited that I think I scared her! Now, lets see how long it takes her to start going in it for "real" and not just for fun.
