Lovin Life

Summer break has been everything I dreamed of and more! First of all I have the best baby in the world! She sleeps in until 9 every day...I am a BIG fan of sleeping in so you would see how ecstatic I am about it! Layla and I have been enjoying our life of leisure lately, we ponder around the house finishing projects, starting new ones and playing around most of the time. We have been able to fit in a few trips to the pool and Wheeler farm! Layla loved to look at all the animals...the baby cow was her fav...

Jayson and I have been keeping ourselves busy with summer stuff...we visited his brother at his families ranch (awesome) it was so fun to get Layla together with Xander. Boating this weekend with our friends Angie and Spencer (totally awesome), weddings, barbeques and spending a lot of time with friends and family. Jayson ran the Ragnar Relay race last weekend...for those of you who don't know it is a relay with 12 people who run a total of 188 miles from Logan to Park City, each person has three legs, Jayson ran a total of like 16 miles, but his last leg was strait up Guardsmans pass, it is crazy. But, he made it just like I knew he would and with flying colors. What a cool guy! He made it through war, so I guess this was no big thing :)







Layla got her two front teeth about a week ago, and they are so cute! They have a huge gap...just like mommy did. Poor girl! But, I will tell you what I think it is adorable, just like my mom thought my gap was...

Her Father's Day gift to Jayson was her first steps! She was just standing there holding onto the couch like usual and I was sitting on the floor talking to Jayson, who was sitting on the couch and she just walked over to me with three solid steps. It was perfect and amazing that we were both there! Then we coached her to walk to Jayson, she did, like three more steps and then back to me with a few more. She is so sturdy! This week she has been standing up without pulling up on anything and taking a few steps here and there. I bet she is walking good within the next few weeks...she is growing up so fast. The teeth and the walking are sure signs that she isn't that little baby anymore. She is so fun right now, I have absolutely loved watching her in every stage. How fun is it to have a baby.
